Episode 18 // from ground zero to stable

I actually recorded this episode before last week’s From Ground Zero to Stable, and listening back, it feels fitting that these conversations are coming out back-to-back. I’ve been wanting to get back to the core of this podcast and some of the deeper, more uncomfortable parts of rebuilding.

In this episode, we’re talking about forgiveness—the difference between saying “I forgive” and actually allowing God to deal with the posture of our hearts.

I share some of my own experience with realizing I hadn’t fully forgiven, taking responsibility and apologizing where necessary, and learning that forgiveness doesn’t erase what happened or require every relationship to be restored.

Whether you’re holding onto hurt, waiting for an apology you may never receive, or feeling convicted to give one yourself, I encourage you to bring it to God and allow Him to help you through the process.
